The Eclipse Page

Welcome to my eclipse page! This eclipse happened on Monday, June 10th, 2002. It was an annular eclipse. In our area, we saw 65% coverage. I took these pictures with my digital camera, so they are not as high-quality as they could be, but hey, I'm not complaining! : ) I hope you enjoy looking at them!

By the way, for an impromptu solar screen for my camera, we used 4 pairs of sunglasses. That was not an ideal setup, but it was all we had. Next time I am going to get a real solar filter for the camera! : )

The 2 darkest pictures were taken through the sunglasses, and the lighter ones were taken through the tinted glass of our car windows.
